There are many ways you can support the Camp.
Shop at Albertson's
Evey time you shop at Albertson's a percentage of your total purchases is donated to the Kiwanis Camp through their Community Partner's Program. We will send you a card that needs to be presented only once at the check-out along with the Preferred Shopper's Card you are currently using. Future purchases require only the Preferred Shopper card be presented to the cashier when shopping.
Volunteer Your Time & Talent
Our volunteer program is vital to camp operations and volunteering is the most satisfying way for many folks to contribute. Since the Camp began, people have volunteered more than 22,000 hours of time to improve, operate, and maintain the Camp. If this is for you, contact the Volunteer Coordinator or fill out our Volunteer Application here.
1) Contribute Cash
(click here to contact us about sponsoring)
Volunteers are essential for our program but we pay our bills with cash (fundraising). Here are some ways you can help us do this.
- $1000 pays the full cost for one camper
- $700 pays a camper’s fee
- $50 pays a camper’s deposit.
2) Donate for recreation programs or transportation costs (click here to contact us about donating)
- Swimming pool fee is $35 for one day, and $105 pays for three sessions
- Fishing is $200 per session, $600 for three sessions
- Field-trip transportation is $500 per session, $1500 for three sessions
3) Make a grant for operations or capital improvements (click here to contact us about grants or capital improvements)
Donate Material & Services
We are seeking donations of materials and labor for the construction of a bathroom/bathing/laundry facility. Interested parties should contact Sharron Sherfick at nwkc@earthlink.net or 360-732-7222.
* A Campership is an increment of assistance equal to one camper’s fee. In 2007 for instance, the value of a Campership was $ 700.
